Desaru 28.12.2019

7:33 PM 0 Comments
Day 1
We braved the morning jam at 8.35am and reached Desaru at 12.34pm.
My restless children manage to quiet down at the last hour of the journey.
The cafe at Els Club Desaru was delight to the sight and the stomach

Food was relatively reasonably priced at 261 Café :

No 4. Jalan Danau, Desaru Coast,
81930 Desaru, Johor

Singapore Bee Hoon (24RM) was good and kids eat free for every meal.

The next pit stop was Desaru Beach, which is opposite The Westin Desaru Resort.

Loved the soft sand and cleanliness of it.

Clean beach

My James Bond

The beach is open to the public and Westin Desaru guest has the access to the Swimming pool. With the cafe beside the Swimming pool. We as the parents get to chill and watched the children at the same time.
A recommended place to eat : Super Lobster Restaurant龍皇海鲜楼, Jalan Jenahak, Kampung Sungai Rengit, Bandar Penawar, Johor, Malaysia

The Crab and lobster were fresh and delicious. We used the freshness to its advantage and ordered it steamed. For 4 families the bill racked up to 1135.70RM.

The children were rather chilled in the morning at their stay Westin Desaru.

Lunch was solid at  Kiang Kee Bak Kut Teh Batu 8, Jalan Mawai, Kampung Haji Mohd Jambi, 81900 Kota Tinggi, Johor, Malaysia.

It has always been busy but legit, there is also a mama store that sells ice-cream which children can enjoyed after meal.

We decided to head to Crocodile World, 1 hour 20 min from the eating place
Jalan Sembilang, Teluk Sengat, 81900 Kota Tinggi, Johor, Malaysia

Entrance Fees are RM8 for adults and RM4 for children. The highlight of the day that they allow the children to touch the baby crocodile. The children and adults could walk one round the small farm watching the big fat crocodiles in the respective cages. I wasn't much fascinated by the crocodile world except it supplies the skin to Hermes.

Also due to the lack of the feeding activities, it would be something I will bring my kids only once due to the reasonably priced tickets

Not sure they knew the crocodile is closing to eating them too. :)

The tiny excitement came along when the crocodiles in the man made river started splashing. And stopped when the crocodile

I paid another few dollars for the kids to carry this baby crocodile, this ended our trip nicely.

We proceed to R & F  Kiddomo Discovery indoor playground to find more ways to exhaust, oops entertain the kids.

Address

Lot T-328, Level 3, The Starling, No 6, Jalan SS21/37, Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

I am impressed by the huge space and the amount of things that the kids can do in the indoor playground.
There is a performing stage that the kids can sing along on the mike, video games, interactive games all in this indoor playground.

The impressive space for the ball pit and birthday parties.

Most huge indoor playground these days would have a café for kids, and I think it is a clever idea. The food portion is just nice for the kids and the café allow non paying parents to sit in the same café to sip their coffee and just chill for abit.

I love this place and will love to go there again. Till the next trip.

Malacca Trip with 7 children - Part 1 by Ade Oei

4:23 PM 0 Comments
The kids of K1A of Ebridge stay united , so did the parents of the kids. There was discussion for a short trip , we settled for Malacca.
Driving for brunch, with 7 kids, it was distracting .We finally managed to order food and settle the kids. But I believe we brought the cafe down with the 7 kids.

Nothing feel relaxed like a passenger along Malaysia . We used what’s app shared location, to check on each other, and made sure we were close by

While the passenger chills, the driver requested for a break and the roads along Malaysia offers Rest and relax pit stop.

We finally reached the AirBnB house and guessed what,it totally look like what you see in the picture . 4 cars could parked outside

The house looks inviting with the first sign of the welcome.. It had 6 rooms in total with all attached bathrooms. We had 10 adults, 7 kids . The house was clean and spacious with open kitchen concept. The living room allows like what my friend said, 'run amock'.

Swimming in the KOI pond size pool had the children exhausted . One of ever ready mum did her homework and ordered Aunty Lee’s food. With relaxed and chilled environment, we made sure that the kids were full, entertained and ready to sleep.
Aunty Lee’s food can be ordered here. Aunty Lee

The second day had me and my Husband , dragging ourselves out of bed , after a late night session talking with the parents who stayed strong and awake
Thank goodness for early parents and my maid , the children were able to eat their breakfast .
The TV, gadgets , Football table , colouring pencils , play doh ,  kept the kids occupied .

The dining table sat the parents whom can chit chat , and keep an eye on the kids . We could go on forever , if not for a common goal to get the kids to walk along Jonker street.

C’tnd on Part 2

2 Days 1Night at JB - Hello Kitty Land & Aeon

7:01 AM 0 Comments
We wanted a short getaway.  A getaway which both parents and children can enjoy, and we decided on Hello Kitty Land. Before we can exhaust the energy of the kids, we had to intake some food to top up the kids' everlasting energy.
We stopped by Shoon Huat Bak Kut Teh 顺发肉骨茶
Add: 13, Jalan Sutera 1, Taman Sentosa, 80150 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia
This is the first time for the kids, and my friends and the helpers.  This is not your typical Singaporean pepper bak kut teh. I felt that it is more flavourful and unique to the taste.

The kids were jumping up and down, upon hearing Hello Kitty land. Papa Koh bought the tickets online.

OPERATING HOURS:

Wednesday – Monday, 10am – 6pm

I was not exactly a Hello Kitty fan, however, was surprisingly greeted by the 3 storeys of entertainment and amusement for the kids. It started off with photo taking, which warmed the kids up.
Followed by cookie making at Wish Studio, which is located near the entrance. I haven't done it before, it was also interesting to me as an adult. I wanted to be the mummy who let the child get creative, but I can't help to guide Adele to have a nice cookie, and after which, I allow them free play. Guess what, kids being kids, Royce added more chocolate chips to his cookie.
Adele's Hello Kitty has a mole near her eyes,
while as Royce added more chocolate to his Hello Kitty cookie,
to make it taste yummy.

Not only the kids had fun, the adults toyed around with the cookie. We had to queue again for the badge making in the same studio, perhaps to have better crowd control quality.
The kids have a creative way of colouring, But I do love it because there is only one kind of badge for each kid.
Walking along the park, we headed our way to Kitty's house,  Kitty house looks like a dream house, with large dining table and a large bathtub. A Kitty's fan can take photos of her heart's desire in that house. The kids loved the props and pose along for our cameras.

When we came out, it was a nice timing to catch Kitty's Purrfect Stage performance. It was a first time hearing Daniel's voice and catching him a long wallet in his back pocket. (we have a very beng Kitty here)
All the kids were watching attentively, as the Kittys swung and danced. After the concert ends, the  kids dashed into the indoor playground, as it is a natural thing.
Overwhelmed by the balls, the adults decided to throw the balls at each other. While the kids are entertained by picking up the balls and putting into the container that pressure mechanism that make the balls float into the long pipe and releasing it into the playground again.
Indoor Playground
My daughter is below 90cm , for your reference.

The tea cups rides allow the kids to move the steering wheel and rotate the cup at the same time. The kids generally like to play the tea cup.

We managed to catch Barney show on time, proceed to another indoor playground and arcade games. Guess what? The Arcade games are free-flow till the children's heart content.
While the common goal's of the parents to let the children have fun, the other objective is to let them sleep early that night. I concussed at Bob the Builder indoor playground , while the children energy are well spent.

Entertaining them next , was Thomas the train, while the parents of little girls eagerly queued at Angelina Ballerina dance class. Those who waited patiently got their girls to put on the tutu skirt and the cute hairbands. They children were rewarded for their effort in their patience and dance by receiving a certificate.

Are we done yet? No. Level 3 brought us to :
1) Windmill Station

2) Bertie the Bus sat the two families, including the adults. I am not going to hide, my inner kid self-enjoyed a lot.
3) Knapford Station Thomas Train Ride, as we boarded the train, we had a great view of the tunnel and massive Sodor Playground.
Royce and Scarlett monkeying around Thomas the train.
And we are just excited to be on his backend passenger
4) Harold's Helitours ride is not for the motion sickness,  it has a handbrake bring the ride closer to the real thing.

5) Colin Crane Drop Ride is strictly off limits for 90cm and below.
While the adults feel chill and relax, the kids are so excited.

6) Sodor Playground is massive, I think the bigger kids can play by themselves. If not, the parents have to sit through the slides and climb and up and down with kids

We went a recommended Coffeeshop and eat to the adults' heart content, fill the stomachs of the children. It is a rather family friendly place if you asked me.

After settling the kids, which took them a while to sleep. ( Mama Koh complains , see this is so much energy they have. ) The Jedis went out hunting for Star Wars at Aeon Mall Bukit Indah, LOT S51, Aeon Bukit Indah Shopping Centre, 8, Jalan Indah 15/2, Taman Bukit Indah, 81200 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia
The kids and Star Wars drained out our energy.
